Treble Charger Guitarist Leaves Band

Guitarist Bill Priddle told
MuchNews yesterday that he has left Treble Charger. "I've
officially retired and I guess they've replaced me," Priddle
said at the Golfapalooza charity event in Markham, Ontario. "I
haven't heard much about what's happening with them. I've moved
to the country and I'm working on my solo album. I hope to have
it out in June or July." Priddle met future band-mates Greig
Nori and Rosie Martin when they were high school classmates in
Sault Ste. Marie. The three went on to form nc-17, a precursor
to Treble Charger, in the early nineties. Priddle wrote the band's
first hit, "Red". Treble Charger is expected to return
to the studio without Priddle to begin sessions for their follow-up
to 2002's "Detox". No full-time replacement for Priddle
has been named. Guitarist Devin Bronson of Kelly Osbourne's back-up
band stood in for Priddle on some dates of Treble Charger's most
recent Canadian tour.
